Your dress got me thinking about white and how impractical it would have been in the past so I looked it up and white dresses for a weddings weren't considered traditional/weren't popular until after world war 2. Before that it was a show of wealth power and the first time it really showed up as the thing to do was in 1840 when queen victoria wore a white lace dress to her wedding, before and during that time up until the white dress was cemented by movies brides would wear black, gray, blue, whatever color dress they had. Often for those with less money it was just the nicest dress they owned. So your design is actually more traditional than the white dresses that are popular today. Trippy.
Agreed, so overrated. I got married in blue =^_^= Loving the nod to the classic wedding ball gown shape with the fun puff shoulder. It provides the touch of whimsy that so many modern brides are looking for. I'm not sure what the details around the neckline are though.
